I wore this dress on Aug 1st 2011 for my two year anniversary vow renewal. I shocked my husband with the wedding ceremony and when he saw me in this dress his jaws dropped. I am no little woman and I believe this dressed worked even superior for my plus size. I am generally about a size 16 with 40DDD breast and I bought a 3X and it was a tiny massive and too lengthy but I had it tailored to fit. The material is lovely and the color (pink) was nice, but I am a 5'2' curvy 6/8 and this dress completely swallowed me up. It looked like I had on a plus sized dress or a substantial pink curtain. I gathered the added material in the back and pulled it back when wearing it and saw that the dress would look wonderful mainly because of the asymmetrical cut but I had sufficient material pulled back in my hand to make a different separate dress. Even when synching this at the waist, it was just way too much material (bunched at the waist) and beneath the waist to even be cute at all on me. If it looked like the picture of the model, it would've been good, but it did not. If I get a likelihood I will take a picture of this dress on so other people can see it ahead of obtaining. I think the only way I would've been in a position to put on this (and make it appear like the picture) would be to have it altered and taken down about 4 sizes it seemed. wow.

I am not a fan of pleats but the asymetrical cut on this dress created it difficult for me to resist and so I ordered it in red and I was not disappointed. It is a one size fits all dress, and I was rather shocked how nicely fits and looks. Wonderful obtain for the capital, no regrets. Wore it to a dinner party and absolutely everyone wanted to know exactly where I bought it, so of course, I referred everybody to Amazon.

I ordered this in White and Lilac for my wedding. The Lilac is a beautiful shade, and was quickly matched to a lot of items for my wedding (flowers, ribbon, flower girl dresses). The The white is for me, The Bride. I wanted a effortless dress with no a train for my wedding. This 1 is excellent. I did add a Bridal crinoline style slip to make my dress fuller tan the bridesmaids. Size is an concern! I am a 16/18 (Tops in Juniors XL, Jeans in 16) and I bought the 2X. The enterprise sent me an XL by mistake, and I could barely get it zipped up. They promptly sent the right size I had originally ordered (2X), and when the length of the 2X was fantastic (I am 5'6") with three.5" heels, the bust was one more story. I put on a 38B (approx 41" bust) Bra and this had to be taken in a couple of inches at the bust line. The crystal pin is nice, not at all low-priced searching. I am a 37" waist and the 2X fit with about a ½" space to spare so it is not too shed and it is comfy when sitting. This dress has boning in the bust to keep the halter in shape. I had a difficult time acquiring a seamstress who would take the bust in at the seam, most alterations places wanted to just put in darts, which produced the bust line askew. The lining has tulle which does not have an below layer, so you will need to have a slip of some sort, unless you want to have scratchy legs all night. All in all-well worth the savings, even when I include things like alteration charges. It's also worth mentioning the fabric is of a Medium thickness and could be worn without a bra if will need be.

DESCRIPTION:
It is Very well created, particularly for the value! It is equivilent to a $125-150 dress at Dillard's or a $200 dress at any bridal shop. The fabric is good, thick, quality satin. The bodice is fully lined with boning in strategic locations to aid provide that hourglass appear as nicely as with holding the dress up on those "blessed" in the bust area. The skirt has a detached lining reaching to the floor with mesh material from about the knee down. The bow at the waist has 2 streamers hanging from it that are a foot long or so.
